MARIO OGLE TO VISIT PAARL DURING CAPE TOWN TOUR
Singing sensation and heart-throb Mario Ogle, who visited Cape Town in September to launch his album 'Can't stop loving you', will be returning to the Mother City for a follow-up tour, from 9 to 21 December. According to Mario "I was totally blown away by Cape Town during the last tour, and couldn't think of a better way to spend part of December, than being in the Mother City again!"
Mario will be performing in Paarl this time, at Peter's Cellars Jazz Club on Friday, 11 December at 11:00pm, which he is very excited about.
Mario will also be performing at the V&A Waterfront Amphitheatre on 16 December, the Day of Reconciliation, at 5:00pm. At Mario's performances there during the last tour, he sold a total of 171 CD's! He will also be travelling to Port Nolloth to perform at the Richtersveld Liggiesfees on Friday evening, 18 December, 11:00pm.
In the Cape Town area, Mario will be making appearances at several Musica stores, where he will be signing CD's and meeting the public.

Mario, who comes from Pietermaritzburg, exploded onto the music scene earlier this year, with his track 'Can't stop loving you'. His latest single 'All I do' is played on radio stations such as Heart 104.9 FM, Kfm 94.5 and Good Hope FM, and Radio KC in Paarl. Other tracks receiving some airplay are 'All gone' and the Michael Jackson cover 'Gone too soon'.
The album, named after the massive hit 'Can't stop loving you', is an energetic, soulful journey, starting with the radio hits, and taking the listener through many emotions, from feel-good dance tracks to slow jams. A highlight is a heartfelt rendition of Michael Jackson's 'Gone too soon'. No surprise, then, that Mario cites Michael Jackson (along with Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Usher and Justin Timberlake) as one of his influences.
Mario has been hard at work promoting the album, and since his last Cape Town tour, has done many performances and promotions throughout KwaZulu-Natal, visiting several towns, sometimes doing up to 6 appearances in one weekend! One of Mario's goals is for the album to achieve gold status, and judging by the sales so far since the release of the album, and the public's response to it, this looks like an achievable goal.
As can be seen, looking at the toned abs in the picture on the back of the album cover, Mario is a keen gym goer. Like any 20 year old, he also likes going to the beach and hanging out with friends, but most of all he likes to be in the studio, writing songs and recording. In fact he co-wrote 4 of the songs on the album. On 27 December, he turns 21, but as his work schedule is nearly full for December, he will only be celebrating in early January!
Last year, Mario reached the top 10 of the M-Net reality TV show High School Musical.
There are plans to start work on a music video early next year.

And yes, ladies, Mario is currently single!
Mario is very active on Facebook, so send him a friend request, and get up-to-date info on his upcoming appearances, as well as seeing loads of pictures!
